Yeah I feel the same way. Usually they are Baptists people playing that stupid "Save me Jesus..." crap real loud.

You're just content being a good person and aren't obsessed with the idea of being a "Christian". Perfectly normal and I don't know you, but I know I like you. Church is stupid, Christian music sucks, and I hate being around Super-Christians too because when I'm around them, I don't try to force my beliefs down their throats but they can't seem to control themselves in this respect. Anyone that ever makes some annoying religious status post on Facebook gets immediately deleted. I don't come to Facebook to read about how it wasn't the years of studying you put into it or the tens of thousands of dollars that your parents are forking out, but "God's plan" that got you into college. I could go on about this all day so I'll just shut up now. But yeah, screw hanging out with Super-Christians.

The problem with christians is that they belive they have the only answer. And like you would expect a moral person with the 'answer' is compelled to share it with people with different answers or even those who don't care to ask the question. Everyone has there own perseption of reality, but what makes christians such doushbags is the need to force their answer down others throats. "do un to others"

I Fucking hate christians too. I say "fucking" so that I can emphasize how much i hate them. Of course I don't hate all of them...but most of them I do. Okay..the thing is, I believe in God..I love Him so much... I been through a lot of emotional paths with Him. God is really real to me. So..I love God, I really don't like christians. When I share my problems/addictions with God, He understands, is tender and caring. Christians on the other hand, keeps telling me, "Share with us your problems, your struggles, dig some stuff from the past thats hurt you and is still affecting you, then share with us. Don't worry we won't judge you." Then they forget everything that they have told me and judge me. One christian fellow said to me, "You would be such a cool person and a good christian if you stop doing ______ and ______." and a pastor said to me that I'm immature, arrogant, sad, and confused while shaking his head at me with a pitiful look in his eyes. Now when I DON'T share with other christian people that I meet in my life about my struggles, pain and my past, and show my more put together side and almost even slightly fake sometimes, I get an pat on the back, praises, and they tell me what a EXELLENT CHRISTIAN I am, they love me while they don't know the REAL me. I just wish that christians can just stop judging people and start helping and caring. I was really honest about my struggles because they told me to be honest. Now when any christians asks me to share about my struggles/addictions/pains I can never share..

Christianity doesn't require "blind faith" as some say. There is more evidence for the authenticity of the bible then there is for the writings of Shakespeare. Shakespeare just doesn't show people that their hearts are bent for sin and that they need a cleaning.
God is good. And you will never see Him until you can come to a place in your life where you believe He is kind as well.

I hate Christian music, because it isn't about anything interesting, and it isn't rebellious. It exists, seemingly, to counter its non-Christian equivilants. But then, I guess some people must like it, and that is fine as well.

Not all 'Christians' are ignorant and aggressive in their beliefs. And might I mention that these traits are found in all belief systems including atheism and shouldn't only be used to describe believers in Christ.

It seems hypocritical to say "Christians force their religion on me," when alot of atheists (not all) call theists stupid and ignorant for believing in God.
All people should be respectful. I have yet to encounter an atheist who has not looked down on me for being a theist, and has just presented THEIR facts.
Having researched carbon-dating, virtual particles, and the like, I am still a theist. Science is wonderful, but what atheists call "evidence" are still just theories.
I believe in the incredible accuracy and authenticity of the Bible, mentioned above, written by eye-witnesses or apprentices of eye-witnesses. Look up the significance of the Dead Sea Scrolls. If Jesus were all made up, why would the apostles die horrendous martyrdoms for no riches, fame, or any other worldly gain?
Yeah Christians aren't always living by Christianity, but not believing in something because others may have messed it up is not a good reason.

One time when I had just gotten out of school and i was crossing the street and there was a man with a box handing things out. I thought it was candy so I took it when he handed it to me. But it wasnt candy it was a mini bible.I didnt know what to do with it. I would feel guilty throwing it away or burning it even though im not a Christian so i left it in my dads car in the glove box. Not my problem anymore. The Christians (preps) at my school are one big group that annoy the shit out of everyone else. They all go to winter and summer christian camps and spam my facebook feed with how god gave them such an amazing life. Its some cabins in the fuckin woods! god didnt put them there some mexican worked his ass off building those cabins.... yall are brainwashed

hi, im christian and this is NOT offending to me. He is simply forcing a lifestyle on you. He wouldnt like it if you forced your religion (if you have one) on you.

If the issue is that you dislike the type of music it is understandable. Who says you have to like every genre of music? If you are a Christian there will be some way in which you will express worship & it doesn't have to be through mainstream Christian music. Why not instrumental or percussion? Is it done unto Him? Each person has been given a way to express worship, so let them do so. You may not connect the same way as another person.

Now anyone can see that some of the things people have been exposed to and have dealt with Christians would make anyone cringe. Question is have you brought that issue to God? And asked what God thinks? People (all people) will hurt others. Unfortunately peoplelook at appearances. Remember David's story? None of his family thought much of him and did even mention him to the prophet. They thought of him as a runt etc. But there is only one who looks at and knows your heart! Each person screws up, has the wrong attitude, hurts others. Why? Because we want to be justified, look good etc. The flesh gets in the way, no matter who you are. So if you hate Christians, it is just best to say you hate mankind. I have not seen one person do it right all the time. Isn't going to happen. I think this is one of the main reasons Jesus taught people that they will need to forgive. Unfortunately, many will let us down even those we expect more of. And sometimes we don't understand where someone else is really coming from. Yet, our hope should not be in man...although we can be hopeful for change & that people will learn from their mistakes. There is only One who meets us where we are really at. Ask Him to help you through & to correct attitudes & to give you wisdom. He will allow testing to come to expose what is in your heart and where you truly are. Most of the time it occurs among those you love or have trusted for guidance. If you fall get back up. That shows more faith and God is proud of the heart that says I blew it, but God I come to you & ask for your help. I'm sorry you have been exposed to some awful crap.

I think there should be a law, whereby the word 'Christian' should always be preceded by 'Feeble-minded'.

The problem with religious people isn't just that they believe something non-sensical, and utterly devoid of any kind of evidence or reason, it's that they assume that they assume their beliefs make them better than anyone else.

And yes, the same is probably true of other faiths. But I live in a culture where the prevailing religion is christian, so they tend to get brunt of my disdain.
