I hate being in shape

Is it normal to have worked to earn a good physique but now hate yourself for it because you look self centered and people think your shallow also people feel your judging them meanwhile on the inside your sweet and not judgemental towards anyone its almost a double standard.

hey, they can all go to hell, seriously! Be proud of the way you look and all the hard work you put into it. Having ripped body is the hottest thing for a girl and a guy.

It's not only about looking good, it's about feeling good and strong. always been into fitness, but recently moved from body-fitness towards bodybuilding (size is the main difference), and after years at the gym i can tell you -there are all kind of people, some of them are pretty much fitting the lousy stereotype about jocks and gym rats. But most of them are just awesome.

So stay healthy and stay fit and don't pay any attention to the lazy fatasses who don't have the self-discipline to get off the couch, so they come up with shit excuses.

Hell yeah. But girls I know that have put on a few pounds don't sit as close to me, delay seeing me, they think I'm judging them or something, God is that ever so annoying. I don't judge anyone, nor do I expect them to follow a strict diet.

See.. it's their issues, it shouldn't be yours. If your friends don't accept you the way you like yourself.. maybe you need other friends.

I have buddies that kidna make fun of me all the time, but it's hilarious and I don't mind. Guys and girls at work ask me for nutrition/workout advice. I mean, eventually people accept that this is the way you are and that's what you do!

This is actually funny in that I would never think of anything of the sort. I guess just be nice and people will see you're not a douche? :-p

you should eat what you want and be happy, stop caring about having a model body and weight, I and most people don't all of my bf/gf and hookups have been fat, cause we love junk food!

Weird but true. When I see ripped guys I always think "discipline and vanity", no thanks.

    • See. Hate that. Well, learn from me and think twice. We could look like this cause we play sports or have a physically demanding job. So open up your mind. Unless you get to know one and notice there's a lot more there then it shouldn't be an issue.

    Thank you.

I don't even think about my weight or my weight in comparison to other women and I hardly work out, I am just naturally built like this. And women, usually my female friends that are overweight, are constantly, constantly, bringing the issue up and trying to justify to me how not everyone can look like me and some women have curves and some women are built this way and I don't give a fuck what you look like, lady.

I wish I could tell them that I hardly notice their weight and don't even think about my weight in comparison to theirs and don't even CARE whether or not they want to look like me or look like themselves and I don't EXPECT them all to look toned or athletic.

I've recently got some congrats on weight loss. But I didn't mean to do it. It wasn't a conscious effort, I got sick. So the congratulations are a bit off putting.

Congratulations on earning your good physique.

Just ignore what people say. If you worked hard for it then you have a reason to be smug.
