I hate all men

I am a misandrist, and no it is not normal, though sometimes I feel it should be, considering how women are viewed and treated.

That is not to say it is right, because it is not. I am struggling to not be sexist, but it is hard when I see examples of so many douchebag males every day (my over-sexed brother being a prime example).

I have been sexually abused, verbally abused, used, cheated on, beaten up, etc. I've watched other girls put their heart and soul into relationships just to find out that their guy was just using them for sex. I've read and heard so many comments like Chakmak's.

My view is obviously colored by experience. I know there are some good guys in the world. I just feel they are few and far between. I'm not really willing to sort through 600 douches to find 1 decent guy.

It is one of my major flaws.

yes its pretty normal, i hate men too. but to be practical the harm would be on your side. You will be consuming yourself with this eternal hatred. i dont say you should compromise, but think men as an inevitable thing in life. you cannot change their attitude but you can change yours. and to be happy you must find your self goal and what really is that you want to do with your life. its again like we never hear men say that they hate women, so it's really not worth thinking over them when they dont care.

Both sexes are bad. We humans are awful.

However, throughout history men have been in a more dominant position socio-politically, and have been able to organize society according to their whims and desires more than women have been able to do. Therefore there's more evidence to support a man-hating hypothesis than a woman-hating one.

My hope is that one day we'll be able to justifiably hate women with the same reasonableness as the way we should be (if not already) hating men now.

I totally agree with you. But, there are still 10% of good men out there, the rest are worthless. They get married or date women only to use women. Majority of men want women to do all the Cooking, cleaning, working, raising the kids, picking up everything, running errands, taking care of aging parents, managing the finances or bills, and what do most men do? They go to work and leave the rest of the sh*t for women to do. We work too, plus have to come home and work more and more. Then they want top 10 model type women that are size 0's and hot sex every second of the day. Well, the reality is WE DO GET TIRED TOO maybe if men weren't such selfish narcissistic self-absorbed dweebs then we would have more respect for them. I started hating men when I was a girl. My dad was always at work and when I was eight he had a heart attack and died. I'm not sure not having a dad had any thing with this. But soon afterwards I found my neighbor, this boy really irritating. He was actually very nice to me and sometimes would ask me to play but I'm sure the hatred was just because he was a boy. When I was twelve I had a fight with this other boy in school and kicked him square in the nuts. I can't tell you how great that made me feel. Because of that all the other boys made fun of him for years to come - another reason I hate them, they're so mean.

Today I am a practicing lesbian and I have a girlfriend I love very much. She is a lot like me. We both have these wonderful fantasies where a virus wipes out all men on the planet. We think about how beautiful this planet will be. We don't talk about our misandric fantasies with our lesbian friends because we're not sure frankly how they would feel about it. We are thinking about having a baby but we're too worried we will have a boy (next week we look at adopting a girl).

Unfortunately, at work I have to sit in meetings with men however i work in HR and I push to hire women. For one I really believe women are smarter and more dedicated than men. Just look at the college statistics women get all the academic accolades and many more girls go to college than men.

Is it normal to hate men? I say it's abnormal to like them! Unfortunately I can't really point out why I hate them so much. I've never been abused or anything like that. I am very attractive so I've had men stare at me but never had many cat calls. perhaps it's just the fact that they wield a lot of power - but thankfully that's changing. I suspect that in 30 years women will come out way on top.

You also claim that men caused the world's problems, you've had many many years and the world isn't better, there's still poverty, corruption, crime, disease, hate, etc. so either you can't fix it or you're part of the cause (both as bad as each other). All I'm saying is that there are racist women, there are sexist women, there are women who abuse power, there are women who abuse others, there are women who commit crime, there are women who are mean and insensitive, there are women that are fat and/or lazy, and (according to your comments) there are women who would suppress and/or remove the natural born rights of another to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. You hate men, but you don't realise that you are just what you despise. If you must group those who you hate then hate people, not just a group of them. Note: I'm sorry you've been surrounded by idiots, but your surroundings and the men you become intimate with are your choice. Misandry is the term for it. It can be a really hurtful thing is wielded the wrong way. I would recommended getting to know men. I know that after having spent my last three years or so living with my husband and two different male roommates (not to mention hanging out with their friends) I've come to understand and like guys a lot better than before. I mean at first I HATED my husband's friends. They were terrible! Then I got to know them and slowly, I came to see them not as guys but as people. I've been with some of them in the best and worst of times. I've seen a few of them cry. When you really get to know a man, not just one you love, but a friend, your attitudes about them change a lot.

Well, I'm a guy so the most I can say is that I don't know. From my guy perspective I would say yes, but my perception sucks, so my opinion is pretty unreliable.
