I get stabbed in the back by everyone

For years now, every single time I give anyone my trust and/or loyalty, they betray me. This includes family. In fact, just 2 days ago I caught my GF cheating on me, and she ditched me. A close freind of mine leeked out one of my top secrets not very long ago. I decided to "trust no one" like they say in the x-files, but now I'm almost a loner. Is this normal? Any advice will be appreciated

    Sorry to hear about that. I'm pretty much in the same situation as you; I've never trusted anyone too much because of this. It's normal, unfortunately...but one day, you WILL find a buddy or two who are loyal, it'll just take a lot of weeding other people out. I wish you all the luck.

    You probably just pick, are attracted to and attract all the wrong people. I'm willing to surmise that your family of origin is quite dysfunctional and said dysfunction has caused you to have a predisposition to find other dysfunctional and codependent people to reenact previous life traumas.

    Well, if you are going to choose a philosophy, perhaps a television show from the past is less valid if that past is only from a few years ago.

        Yes, spies are able to cloak and disguise themselves as other players. That's usually how they backstab your character.
