I get scared in my bedroom...

Iv started to see and hear things in my room at night when I'm asleep, I see black shadows tht move past my bed they look like a shape of a person but there isn't anyone there, when i look near my window sometimes it looks as if my curtins are lighting up as if someone is driving past the window but it's just a field behind our house, I get so scared tht I have to leave the door open, and a few weeks ago it felt as if someone was sat on my legs while I was lying down and it feels like I'm being watched when I go in the room, I told friends and family but they just laugh at me and don't take me serious, I don't know what to do, does it sound weired?

It's a phobia, but it's a very common one. Some people think it's caused by ghosts or demons, some think it's caused by internal factors. Either way, though, you've got plenty of company.

Watch your back, pretend not to notice, hide your fear and negative emotions, because you may be haunted. If it only happens in your room, maybe sleep in different rooms each night? That MAY help...maybe

I think it is absolutely normal. I had it aswell at the house I used to live when I couldn't be with my parents. Now I still don't like looking out of my window when it's dark, afraid something will show up or something.

When I forget my sun-curtain when it is still light I basically do everything to avoid looking directly outside. Admitted my family has had it's paranormal experiences (no joke) and I used to live 200m from graveyard, plus im energy sensitive. Might cause it aswell with you.

  • You probably need to get your family to experience what you have to get them to believe you and it does sound like a ghost to me as well.

i feel the same way sometimes about being watched. sometimes i think its linked too when i was little my grandmom told me i was in the car with her and someone popped up at the window and i guess it scared me and is psychologically linked back to that. but just stay calm and know that you can't always be watched because they have to go home sometime!

What you are experiencing is very normal. You see, when people go to sleep, it is not uncommon for us to begin dreaming before we're fully asleep. The feeling of having someone sit on you, in particular, is a common hallucination.
