While I read, and when I finish reading a superb novel I feel sad because I feel as though I am parting from the characters. I get so involved in their lives and their emotions that when I am done with reading I wish I could be a part of that amazing world.

Reading a good story is a wonderful thing to experience. With books, you get immersed into it in a way that movies or other forms of media just aren't really capable of doing. It is normal.

Just try to look forward to your next good book :)

Same thing happens to me. Books shape people, I believe. I hate ending a book because I feel lost afterwards, like I shouldn't be wherever I am, and should be with my characters in my book. Normal, in my opinion.
