I get a lot of headaches is it normal?

Ok as written above I get a lot of headaches sometimes 3 days in a row.
It can be triggered by a number of things :
.by sitting on my stomach
.when I'm In a steamy room like the bath or a spa
.when I'm really tired
.when I rock out on my mum and dads bed
.when I listen to a lot of music on my iPod

I suffer from insomnia and struggle to fall asleep & I wake up in the night a lot could this be a cause?
This week on Friday I needed to take two extra-strong paracetomals then on Sunday I needed to take another two (this time normal) paracetomals then today (Monday) I needed to take two disprols (dispersable paracetomal ) because I couldn't find the tablets.
Once I take the tablets after a couple of minutes it does go away and I do not suffer from migraines or take any medecation I am 15 nearly 16 years old and fit and healthy I'm not overweight and besides my coccyx being shaped like a right angle (which I'm getting a operation for) I have no other health problems .and I'm British so I don't know all thaws American health places.

So is this normal ? Thank you

  • I just thought I was thirsty I do drink and go the loo a lot so I hadn't noticed And I didn't mention the diahrea because it happened two days after I had posted this blog and I felt it wasn't connected to the problem just thought I'd explain that

If you've got a lack of sleep, granted, you'll have a headache

I have the same. Since I was 11, I have migraines almost every day of the week.
No doctor has told me what other thing it can be, they are just migraines.
I have suffered from insomnia in the past, and a couple of weeks ago it started again. I barely sleep.

The difference is I'm 18. I have two jobs and I study. I'm kinda used to migraines now.

Ignore the idiotic comment above about a brain tumour! If you had anything seriously wrong with you, it would hardly be cured by taking some paracetemol, would it?

You sound like you are suffering from a combination of stress-related problems and that these ate contributing to your headaches.

It is worth seeing a doctor, however - mainly to provide reassurance to you because you are obviously worried about this situation.

Go see a doctor but the bottom line is that you're gonna be fine :-)
