Today I found it in the trashcan.
On valentines day I gave both my mom and dad valentine plastic roses, but today I found one in the Trashcan:( It was the red one! The one I gave
my dad!! And it was expensive!
Is this normal? Hopefully my mom still has hers. (Guy)
P.S He is my step dad.
What an ass! I sent my dad fake flowers when I was 5 or 6, I am 27 now and he still has them. Mind you they aren't out on display but he kept them and that's what counts.
If I was you I would ask and say why but I woukdnt buy my step mum or step dad stuff like that
I'm a bit iffy on this one. One one side, one should never throw out a gift they were given by someone who cares because that's like saying he doesn't care or is ungrateful. On the other side, it's his item and he could throw it out if he so chooses.
Plastic roses shouldn't cost that much, or maybe he didn't think it cost so much money. I have little chachkies people give me all the time and I never have anywhere to put them and end up throwing them out.
Not everyone is sentimental and keeps stuff long term. Try not to take it personal.
