I gained weight, now my wife won't put out, iin?

I am getting older and I just got switched from a hands on construction job to a desk job because I was injured on the site last year and unable to continue my hands on approach because the injury has taken a while to heal and I might not be able to walk as well even after it has healed anyway.

As a result, I gained 45 lbs., so I have gone from a 5'10 and 145 to almost 200 lbs. Obviously, I can't exercise it off because my knee is still healing, so I changed my diet and cut out the junk food, doughnuts etc (I got depressed and started eating more junk food). I have lost 15 lbs. so far but that 30 is still on me and it's taking a while to remove. I'm in my fifties, and I am doing all that my doctor has recommended for me to aid in the weight loss, but even he says that, at my age, there is only so much I can do without exercise. It's my fault I gained the weight in the first place, but that was the last thing on my mind once I realized that my career will never be the same.

But since I gained the weight, my wife refuses to have sex with me! It's not like I can't find my dick, and despite my knee I can still do a few positions that aren't uncomfortable for her and I can still give her oral! I told her I'll turn off the damned lights and put on a fucking Reagan mask if that's what she likes, but she says that she just can't stand looking at me!

She looks nothing like she did when we first married! She had kids and gained the weight and never lost it and she does not diet and hardly exercises. Her food intake is causing her to gain weight much more slowly than I did. She went from a 5'3, 110 pounds to 5'3 180, and I haven't said shit! My drinking buddies say that their wives are almost beyond the point of caring about looks and screwing is screwing to them.

Am I the only one that this is happening to you or are nit-picky wives the norm?
