I found my soulmate at the age of 15

My boyfriend and I have been off and on for the last few years, this time though we've decided it is for life.

I believe he is the one and I could not see myself with anyone else.

Is it possible that he is the "one" even though I was so young when I fell in love with him or is it slightly risky to put my all in him?

Just a general view of the situation, I don't think I could live without him either way, if it's not normal, it won;t change anything, I love him with all my heart and miss him every second I am away from him. His the only guy whose ever made me so happy. When I have been with others, I've always longed to be with him.

I am 100%% sure it is normal to find you soulmate at any age but I could be the only one.

i have to chip in and have to say that if you found yourself a soulmate and you both are under the age of twenty then it is not going to work out..you have no idea how much you age and mature and how your wants and needs change in five years...seriously..your priorities change and you become a different person. people these days that get married around the age of 21 are silly

We are still together - been married since January 2011 and have two beautiful children.

From the man this post is about!

I believe you. If I'm counting correctly, I let my soulmate 7 years ago. It took me until this October (I'm 19) to finally realise and accept this as a fact. I can't see myself being with anyone else. I have never felt so at home and connected to another person.

its probaly uncommon to find your soul mate at so young, especially cause its hard to tell untill you get older.
of course it happens, a friend of mine has been with a girl on and off since they were 13, and now, 8 years later, they are planning on getting married next summer.

Hey I'm a little curious it says your account is brand new 'CTroke91'.

    Why is that?
    Fake post?

If it's a real post then keep it up but just remember you're in the honeymoon phase.

    It hasn't been that long.

Btw, what part of the country / world do you live in?

    Thanks.

    Ugh.

While it's highly possible it's very unlikely.

You've been on and off so you know he's not your soul mate.
If he was your soul mate there wouldn't be an 'off' period.

It's obviously your young age that makes you feel that he's your one and only.

Post back after you've had 7 adult years of being with this same guy. You'll probably be ready to bail on him and he on you if you even make 7 years of adult committed relationship.

Being young and in school or not really having to work and pay a mortgage/bills is totally different than being in a relationship with actual responsibilities and consequences.

Part of living is growing and dating different people is one of the best ways to experience new things and grow as a person.

just make it clear to your soul mate and to yourself that if there's any 'messing around' in your hearts, to do it now, not later, and perhaps with permission. It's better than cheating 15 years later.

  • My soul mate found me :) she was 18 and I was 19. One year later, strong as ever. I've already told her I can't wait to make her my wife and to have a family someday.

  • Yep, normal :) I found my boyfriend when I was 14 and he was 16 and we've been together a year now and are madly in love. Same happened for my moms best friend who dated her husband for 9 years after they met when they were 13

  • My boyfriends mom and dad were highschool sweethearts. His mother has never had an ex boyfriend. My boyfriends older brother has been with the same girl since 8th grade. I've been with my boyfriend a little over 6 months. I'm on the same boat as you. :)

I always used to laugh at others when they talked about soulmates- or I've found the one...Until it happened to me. Out of the middle of nowhere. I think that if you know in the depths of your soul that he is it then what else could you possibly be looking for. It's like cards. A lot of people fold cards that look really good, but are to afraid to play them because they are worried about the rest of the hands on the table. If you know you got a pair of aces it doesn't get any better then what are you waiting for? Besides, even if you go all in and you hit the river and it just wasn't as good as you thought it was going to be you can always shuffle the deck and start over.
