I find it easier to tell my fetish to strangers than partners

I find it easier to let people I couldn't care less about know about my pee fetish than people I genuinely love to bits.

People can ridicule me all they like and I can shrug it off as bullying, but if I tell a partner I'm in bed with about it, my heart starts thumping 10 times as fast, my ass starts twitching like a motherfucker and my hands get all clammy due to the fear of being judged/rejection.

Needless to say I suck at relationships. Is it normal?

It’s normal. You don’t want someone you love to be creeped out or weirded out by you. Yet, a stranger, you wouldn’t care.

To tell a stranger there is no fear of rejection since there is no love relations with strangers. As humans we have the desire to be wanted, and loved. So to tell our deepest secrets to a loved one kicks in our serious fear of rejection.
In the same sense i find it much easier to tell others on here about my being a crossdresser and that i have yrs ago sucked my buudies cock and that i really actually enjoyed. I would never tell someone i would be dating that same stuff, unless i knew she would be very open minded and accepting.

    We fear rejection.

It makes sense that you'd be more anxious telling your partner about it, it's a lot more intimate.
