        It's a concept many people have problems with, but saying something isn't true doesn't make it so.
        
        The below page - which seems credible to me - goes into detail about cheating in marriages. The numbers aren't as high as those Alduin gives, but I suspect he got his statistics from another page giving the results of a survey where people were asked if they had ever cheated in any sort of relationship.

Firstly, you don't seem to feel sorry for couples at all. You seem to feel sorry for women who expect that her guy will be faithful. If anything he was more the possessive and controlling type of person. I've never been the cheating type, but after over a year with him I can certainly understand why his exes would have cheated on him, or so he claimed.
