I feel like i don't feel

I wake up in the morning and I don't feel like getting up. I don't feel like brushing my teeth. I don't feel like having breakfast. I don't feel like doing my homework. I don't feel like helping others. etc.

I do feel as if I'm turning into a lazy bump on a log, and I'm 40 pounds over weight to prove it. I just got kicked out of my parents house for being lazy. I don't think I'm going to make it in the real world.

So here's the question:
How do you guys get over the things that you don't want to do and buckle down and do them? Is this a normal feeling?

i dont think ur lazy, i really think u sound depressed because this is exactly how i feel when im depressed and im definately not a lazy person normally. depression can make you feel really lazy even though its not ur fault because u cant help the way you feel. if you suspect it may be depression and not just that ur lazy pls go to the drs and get help because i dont think its normal to feel this lacking in motivation and not able to do small things. i wish you the best.

sometimes lazyness can cause depression: if you dont achieve your goals (because you were lazy), your self esteem can sink.

I have to say that you people are not helping him at all. The guy is on here trying to get help. He understands what he is doing wrong and wants guidance in doing it.

    Do listen to negative.

Yes you do need to get off your arse, but one step at a time. Get up every day and go for a long walk, give yourself the time to think about what you want be and set a goal for each week and work at it one step at a time.

Go and see your doctor there may be something they can do to lift you out of this depression.

    Best of luck

I don't ever feel like waking up, I don't want to go to school, I don't want to come home and study until it's time to go to bed, but I get up and do it because I have high aspirations, and couldn't live with myself if I gave into my laziness and was a useless sack of shit. So suck it up and don't waste your life. If you do you'll regret it in the end.

I liked your reply the best so far it's a good combination of "just fucking do it" and "or else"

go jogging: i've heard its a good way to get out of a depression (because of the endorfines) and its the most efficient way to burn fat. do a short distance the first time; and not too intensive (keep up a pace at wich you can still breathe through your nose). the most important thing is to keep doing it regularly, otherwise its no use.

  • Nobody wants to do those things. But you have to brush it off and do it anyway.

    One question

Do you have the guts to do what you really want to do?

    If No, DIE..

If Yes, Go for it. Change your Life.
(Now don't look at me like "HoW?"
Find it man... that's your responsibility..

It's very simple. Just get up and do it. Like YOUSICK said. Make a routine. This might just be me, but I can't stand being around people that don't brush their teeth or help themselves in any way.
