I'm very self destructive and I'm not gay nor a feminist.

Lowering the birth rate in western countries isn't the answer. Over population is mostly a developing countries issue. People not wanting to reproduce is usually the beginning of the end of a society. Western people not having as many children doesn't reduce the global population. Overcrowding in the dangerous sense mostly just happens in developing countries.Do you think that people in sub-saharan Africa are suddenly going to stop having 20 kids each? No. Most of them have no reliable access to contraception anyway. Do you think that Muslim families are going to start having less kids? No. Having large families is a huge part of their culture. They move to western countries and churn them out by the bucket load. So all that's happening is the western people are being replaced.

Also, in countries where the population did start to fall due to people not wanting children, like Denmark for example, it caused so many problems that the government started providing a huge lump sum of cash for every baby born. One generation suddenly deciding to not have children is terrible for a country. It means you end up with an aging population with not enough people of working age to support it.

I agree that the world could do with less people overall but to just say that we should all stop having children is absolutely not the solution. You have to think these things through.

EDIT: sorry OP, I realise that I sounded like I was trying to argue against you by agreeing with you, because I never addressed your original post. I was mostly responding to comments from other users. I agree with your hypothesis but not the cause - lowering birth rate in the west is a huge problem but I don't think that homosexuality or feminism are the cause of that. Homosexuality especially isn't a massive issue as far as I can see, because homosexuals can and do raise children. Having babies isn't all about the old fashioned way - they can adopt or use a surrogate. We need some people to adopt babies.

Values aren't transmitted down families these days. They're transmitted by conversion.
