I feel for robots
Robots and machines make me emotional, in ways most sad-looking humans don't. When I was 18, the roman centaur animatronic robot in the Spaceship Earth ride at Epcot made me cry for an entire evening on my first evening in Florida, even though I was happy to finally be in Disney World. I don't know, his eyes looked so sad, he was just muttering. It made me sad to think that he was stuck doing the same thing over and over, not having any say on his creation...yes I know, robots don't have feelings and cannot think for themselves.
Movies like AI and even Bicentennial Man (if it had been a movie about a real man I would have gagged at the cheesiness of it) put me in tears through the entire time I was watching them. I usually never cry in movies.
When I see an old and abandoned toy or computer/electronic I get very emotional as well.
The Brave Little Toaster still makes me cry.
