I feel exposed without my blessed cross

I have this blessed cross made of wood with a painted picture of a Jesus. It was blessed by my church priest. I always have it with me and feel exposed to demons and stuff if it isn’t touching my body or if I’m not holding it. If I loose it, I get all anxious and terrified. But with it I feel safe and at home. I dont know why I feel this way but if you seen my other post, I’m starting to feel like that thing may not be following me when I have the cross with me. is it normal to feel this way, or am I just getting all crazy?
