I don't feel as if I was ever truly me in life. Instead, it feels like I'm merely experiencing the life of someone else while the true me resides within my subconcious. IIN?

    Holy santa Claus shit. You just blew my fuckin mind. I have always felt and described it as "watching my life being lived for me like I am standing behind a wall, like foggy bathroom windows". I'm 24, with a 2 year old. Im terrified because I feel I have no real knowledge to pass on. I lived a life that wasn't really for me. Its sounds insane, I know. Just wanted to say I needed to see this today. Oddly , I feel atleast 9% better. :)

      You're not the only one, I also experience it, but only for a few seconds (quite often though). Ah, and sometimes when I look in the mirror it seems like I'm looking at someone else...

    i think its depersonalization (for the most part) and then derealization.
    i have lived with it most of my life, and it dosent get better.
