first of all i want to say that i am in a good relationship with someone i love alot. but sometimes i go through these phases where i cant stop thinking about my exes. i dont want to go back to them, but i have dreams that i am with them & its like my feelings for them are rekindled. its actually pretty annoying especially because i know that they dont think about me at all. i mean, its been years since we even saw eachother in person. dose anyone else experience this?

    That's totally normal, especially for people who tend to remember their dreams.

    After you have one of those dreams, don't panic and think you're losing it. Just know that rekindled feeling will go away in a day or two. The more real those dreams feel, the longer it takes for the feelings stirred up by them to subside.

    ya, i just ended up cutting ties with a lot of people, well pretty much everyone, and am engrossed with my computer most of the time and listen to a lot of death metal to drown out thoughts, so im worse off than you lol. i just stopped giving a crap. just fyi, im not a myspacing or facebooking fag or fat for that matter.

    I think you just may need time to put these relationships into perspective & to realize that you felt, and still feel something for them. That is OK - why would they have been something to you otherwise? But you live in the here & now -with others who love you in this time sense.
