I fall in love with famous people too much.

In the space of a year, I will probably fall in love with a famous actor or singer. Usually actors, as I spend hours watching their videos on youtube. Most of the time, they will be america (I'm english) and 10/20 years older than me. (I'm 15)
The thing is, I will see a film or show, and fall in love with a character. But these films/shows are normally a few years old. For example, my most recent obsession is Adam Brody, who played Seth Cohen in the O.C.
I start by watching youtube videos, finding out facts, looking at pictures. Soon, I couldn't stop thinking about him. I feel kind of.. depressed in a way. I can't really explain it. So far, it's only been about a week, I know it seems short, but this obsession is likely to last a month or even more. When I'm over him, I'll move onto some one else.
This ALWAYS happens, and causes me to feel depressed most of the time. I have a list of boys obsessions that I've had in the past. Ages vary from 20-32!
Sometimes one of my best mates will also love the actor, but never as much as me. I go crazy. Is it normal?

    It's a celebrity crush. I've had one on Taylor swift for exactly 2 years lol, ever since I saw love story music video my sister was watching <3

    I think its normal...I do this too but with football players. Actually just one...and it's been for years. My boyfriend actually gets kind of annoyed during football season.

            Ha there's just something about him...When I would see interviews of him, he just acts professional and isn't like "Hey look at me!" like some of the other nfl players even though he's just as good. I "love" him. The hair doesn't hurt either!

    Aww, you sound like my sister. She used to go for older people on TV too (usually American) and become pretty obsessed. She turned out okay and I guess you will too. Don't worry about it. You're just learning about what it is you like about guys.

    It's ok, I'm 19 and develop celebrity crushes. I think a lot of people do. I wouldn't have a problem with my crush (or ex-crush) liking Kate Nash if he didn't like her more than me!

    I don't call this love because you don't truly know who they are. You're liking what you're seeing or what the singer or actor does. That's my opinion though.

      Also, you're fifteen. Idolizing and adoring celebrities is normal behavior at your age. Just try not to carry it into adulthood. Eventually you'll realize they're just people. Unobtainable rich people who aren't worth your attention.
