I experienced hearing loss when i used earplugs. is this normal?
Just 2 days ago I put in earplugs, and when I removed them I felt half-deaf. I can clearly hear noises coming from inside my body but I can barely sense external noises.

No, that's not normal at all. Visit a doctor. Or buy different earplugs.
may have caused inflamation in your ear, or ear wax build up. I would go get it checked out to make sure its not something worse. Try taking a long warm shower and calming yourself down while you wait.
Probably just impacted wax. You can get some stuff over the counter to squirt in there daily, eventually the blockage will drain out. I had this once from swimming. When it finally cleared it was such a relief it was almost as good as sex lol.
Either you ruptured the drum like others have said or you may have some excess buildup of earwax that was then pushed into the ear.
Either way, I think it requires a doctor.
You pushed them in too far and possibly ruptured the drum. You might want to go to a doctor about that.
When i read the title I thought you meant you couldn't hear well while you had earplugs in. That would be normal. Hearing loss after removing them is not.
