I eat one meal each day

So as the title suggests, I eat only one meal a day and it is almost always pizza. Apart from that I drink a lot of beer.

I haven't really been getting sick, so i figure this is a good way for me to lose some weight. Does anyone else behave in this way?

    No. You need to eat. This isn't healthy. Maybe you should see a doctor...perhaps you have an eating disorder or your appetite is just way off. The drinking isn't going to help either. You could eventually get sick plus you need the nutrients that food and water give you. Every person needs to at least eat twice a day...with snacks in between (OF COURSE).

    You definitely will not get the right nutrients your body needs to survive and thrive by eating pizza and beer everyday.
    Do yourself a favor and eat vegetables, fruit, and whole grains. You will feel better and look better if you eat right. You won't regret it and eating right can lead to better decisions like exercising, which will make you lose more weight.
    So its a win win for eating right and exercising.

    First off, how long have you been living like this? If this is a long term thing it's going to be a big problem! Second before you change your diet, go to a doctor and get a blood test to see how your liver is functioning and to see how many nutrients you're really lacking. Then you will get a picture of how unhealthy you are. You may not feel different on the outside but I promise you that you're ruining your insides and cutting down your life expectancy! Beer is fatty and it's poison to your body. Honestly if you want to start losing weight, cut it out completely. Same with soft drink if you ever drink that. Just to give you an idea of how important this is: I gained 5-8 kilos last year, when I came to my senses and decided I needed to lose weight the first thing I did was cut out the crap and only drink water or tea and just from doing that I lost half of that weight. I recommend you try preparing small meals (like in the morning a bowl of cereal or a sandwhich, seriously how hard is it to do that?) instead of buying take out once and guzzling all of that with a can of beer as your daily meal. Cooking isn't half as complex as they make it look on T.V, Try learning the basics of cooking/preparing food. You will start to feel more hungry after you've been working out consistently and you've started to lose weight and you can then start snacking on some fruit here and there to tie you over. For you I recommend that you work out/run every day or every second day. (If you've always been overweight then you have to really push yourself hard and consistently). for AT LEAST half an hour.

    There was a time I only ate once a day. I lost 10 pounds in two weeks. I kept on doing it because it was an easy way to lose weight. After a while I was getting the most awful heartburn that mounds of Rolaids wouldn't help and I had to take really strong medicine. I wondered why that would be until I found out that when you skip meals, your stomach acid becomes more acidic. Doing that and all you're eating is pizza and beer for a couple of months you should expect to feel like you're drowning in your own bile. If you only want to each that much a day, spread it out, add high fiber breads and veggies and you'll lose weight.

    Best way to lose weight is to eat 6 times a day. and cut out the alcohol that's empty calories.

    See a dietitian who deals with exchanges instead of calories.

    What you are going to get is a good gastritis and colitis, if not ulcers, and a handsome anemia, not to mention that your liver will be a rag. If you are overweight and don't exercise, that mix of alcohol and cheap unhealthy fats will produce a lot of triglycerides, so you can also be eligible for diabetes or directly for a stroke.

    To be honest I eat once a day some times none a day but I always make sure I drink plenty of water. If you keep eating food the way you are including the beer then in the end it will make you sick and trust me it doesn't feel good.

    Not too mention in can cause problems i.e. high colestrol etc.

    I suggest if you want too lose weight try and get a healthy diet. I used to be a fat child until I took up boxing and then I lost weight but I had a healthy diet btw the contested atkins diet worked a treat for me I can not say nothing bad about it. =)
