SOOOOOO, I take the hot chocolate mix packets at work and sit at my desk and eat it with a spoon. LOL, I don't think that's normal, but it's so yummy! :3
Is this normal?
Don't tell anyone then. I have many habits and behaviors that I hide from everyone to avoid ridicule.
They are missing out though, it is delicious letting powdered chocolaty goodness dissolve in your mouth. Adding water or milk weakens the intensity of the chocolate taste. It can get dangerous though: have you ever accidentally choked on a mouthful of it? I have and it was very unpleasant, I got some up my nose and probably some in my lungs.
This is slightly off the topic, but when I was a child it was quite popular with everyone to eat Jello powder from the bag it comes in. You lick your finger, stick it in the powder, and suck it off.
but i have a tendency to eat it at work. so it's not like i tell them, never once have i verbalized it - they just walked by and saw me eating it, haha.
no, i haven't inhaled it, yet. i would think it hurts a lot. i saw an episode of 1000 ways to die and apparently some guys had a cocoa powder fight and they inhaled so much that they died. eek.
that sounds delicious. i haven't tried that, but i think i will. stop giving me weird suggestions! LOL kidding. :)

Normal enough. My father used to eat pancake batter so it can't be that odd.
It is pretty yummy stuff, and I'd say it's normal but also that you shouldn't trust my opinion as I occasionally sneak a spoonful of coffee whitener and pretend it's white chocolate cocoa powder.
Haha, how endearing. I caught my brother eating powdered Gatorade concentrate once. He said it was not pleasant.
lol, it's not that endearing. When I was 15 and on holiday, we got given some spending money each day to spend on chocolate and comics and stuff. I spent my first day's worth on a tub of coffee whitener and then carried it everywhere with me with a teaspoon. There's a difference between "endearing eccentric" and "weird kid with a tub of whitener". :P
I think you call it non-dairy creamer. It's powdered, cream coloured glucose, oil and a caseinate. One brand here is Coffee Mate (which might be American, for all I know).
I've seen the term "coffee whitener" once in the US. It was on a vending machine in Alabama, and I thought it was really funny at the time.

I ate it a few times. I liked it that's why I made sure that it didn't become a habit.
