ive never been on a date or anyting like that ,i dont understand why people bother dating or why people get so excited about people they are atracted to,and about sex, the whole thing just seems worthless and pointless (hollow)to me, could someone fill me in becauswe i dont get it

    dating and love is pointless and hollow,and posibly fake,ive met some people who have dated est , allot of them cheat and sleep around, are discussing , or with assholes, i can look at movies with stupid college kids or whatever (ex sorority row,American pie(never saw allot of this but i know the type of people) and easily say i know people like that, it makes the hole thing seem worthless, and those who say they need it are Pathetic.

    dating isn't pointless. maybe you'd have to date in order to get it. at any rate, people who are interested in each other (chemistry) need to learn about each other. dating gives them the opportunity (one on one) rather than with a group of people, to do that.

    lots of people use dating (courting) as a tool in order to decide if this person is the person they want to move forward in life with.

    it is true that some people make such a stink about it that it looks like it is pointless, or that they'd date anyone who asked, just to have a date.

    maybe neither you poison are in a place in your life where this doesn't make any sense yet, but you may change your mind later.

    Nor have I. Sometimes I understand and sometimes I don't, but I have to admit that the whole thing does seem a bit hollow to me.

    It's not that I'm asexual either, but still. The older I get, the more pointless it seems (I'm 18)
