I dont really like my hometown

haven't really been to my hometown in awhile but I remember that it wasn't all that good.

its ghetto you had some good people but you had trash of all kinds black trash white trash Hispanic trash and even Asian trash.

prostitution has always been a issue and gangs are everywhere.

it could be worse like Detroit or something but its still very bad.

dose anyone else have a hometown that they hate to talk about?

    Personally, I don't subscribe to the use of the term "trash" for any person - white, black or whatever ethnicity.

    As far as towns go, I find some are really bad because they lack the things that are important to me like artistic and cultural events, greenery and trees. I used to hate mine when I was younger but it has since improved and even if it hadn't I'd probably like it better now that I'm older.

    We all outgrow our hometowns (or should), no matter how good or bad they were. Those of us who want better, to experience something different just for ourselves, and not be so and so's kid, that one's sister, or he's the school director's nephew, usually move out early. I was no different, and always knew..I won't be in this town forever like so many people.

    Finished college, got my first job and, ok, a kind of crappy apartment in an area an hour and a half away (which, to people in my hometown, was referred to as "living away"), then did better and better over the years, moving twice. I don't hold anything against my hometown, but also always knew..This is not for me.

        Somewhere in Yorkshire, UK. There are alien murals all over town, UFO societies, an observatory and vegetable patches for whoever wants free veg.

    Yeah my hometown is ghetto too. It's full of gangs, druggies, loud mouths, unsupervised kids and pets in the streets, and a lot of uninsured drivers. I don't like it here. One of the few good things about it is that most shops are a short walk away.
