I dont look like other people

i'm not trying to sound special or anything, in fact it kinda freaks me out. when I look at other people around they don't really stand out and they all kinda look the same. they have a lot of the same types of features and that sort of thing, which i think is normal for some nationalities. in fact, when i see ''skinny'' people, they are never skinny like me (I'm not anorexic or anything, just naturally lanky, and i think it looks so awkward, especially since I'm an adult). I look like a central european from the 20's or something (my heritage is from there, but i don't understand why i don't look ''modern''- and it's not to do with fashion, just facial structure). I just recently noticed this when i was traveling alone, at a busy airport caught my reflection and i looked so strange compared to all the other people... IIN

    I think it's possible for certain people to have those "vintage" features. I actually been told myself that I have that " past times" look. It's also the way people tend to view themselves or carry themselves.

    If you think other people don't really look very distinct, you may have a form of prosopagnosia, a disorder that makes it difficult or impossible to tell people apart. That, or you're such a narcissist that you gaze at your own reflection so much, you've forgotten to notice how other people look.

    As for not looking "modern," plenty of people have old-fashioned faces that would have been the height of beauty in another era. Kirsten Dunst, for instance, would have been stunning in 1914 or so. January Jones is gorgeous in her "Mad Men" mid-'60s costumes, but she's kind of plain and dull in modern clothing. Make the most of it and embrace Art Deco-influenced fashion.

    Honestly, when it comes to asking questions if whether or not your appearance is normal, its highly recommend that you provide a picture of what you look like. But honestly, you sound like another human being to me.

    I think I know what you mean...a lot of girls kinda look the same to me, because they want to look like each other, or like some famous person, so they all dress the same, or get their hair styled the same. Junk like that. And then they don't really stand-out at all, which does them a disservice. As for looking unmodern: if this were the 1930s, I'd look like a Hollywood glamour girl. But right now, I just kinda look weird...so yeah. I'd dress vintage, if I were you! And have fun with your uniqueness, and keep an eye out for other unique people, because not everyone looks like everyone else...just a few conformist do.

    Sorry, but I think it's all an illusion. Unless you're comparing yourself to Cro-Magnon humans, there's no such thing as a "modern" face. The only thing that has has changed in the last 100 years is migration due to globalization is racial intermarriage which has produced so many beautifully mixed facial features. You need to value your own uniqueness, as well as others.
