I dont know

Im 18, male, out of college from training to be in the army and FAILD the test. Im fast, fairly healthy... Idk. my life is one big f**k up. I spent too much time trying to be something only to have something change my mind. i wanted to be a scientist or astrominer. until i got deep into politics, pholosphy and religion. Then i got into media, wanted to share storys in the form of music, books, games and films.

Then when a very close friend of mine joind the armed forces, i chose to change my mind once again. Right now i do nothing. If i had enough motivation to chose something i would go all out to be the best at it. But nothing intrests me more than the other.

Is it normal for some one my age to not know what they want to do?

I find everything amazeing.

BTW I diddnt know what to lable this under so i just put it under work. soz if its not ment to be.

Someday it might just hit you, what you REALLY want to do. It's normal to not know what career path to take. I'm twenty-one years old and I only THINK I know what I want to do. I too have change profession outlooks several times. Some people don't even know what they really want to do til they're forty or older! But you'll eventually figure things out. For now, just try new things. If you plan to go to college, you can even talk to a career counselor. They'll help you determine what you might be good at. But even if you're good at something, always just follow your heart (as corny as that sounds)! Good luck!

Don't go into the military just because it works out well for your friend. Don't look to other people for guidance on how to live your life. Just do what is most appealing to YOU and what will be the most beneficial profession to you.

Why would you WANT to join the army. Do you really want to spend the rest of your life in the army, fighting for just about nothing?
War solves nothing, all it does is kill, no one wins, both sides lose.
Wanting to join the military is just a deathwish

Id suggest going with the media idea, you'd get more out of it in the long run, and it wont kill ya.

How about you respect your soldiers you twat instead of spitting that shit opinion, in a war there clearly is a winner even if lives are lost on both sides, fighting terrorists on there own grounds so they don't bring the war to you're country, there has always been conflict the world is not perfect so don't disrespect others for doing a job that you aren't man enough to do.
