Let's fly to Neverland :)
A quotation:
"The more you grow older, the less you laugh."
Got a secret for you. You don't have too grow up. You can always have a youthful outlook. Look for humor and novelty.
OH MY GOSH!!!!
Since when is "controllive" not a word?
Where have I been....
i rmemeber b4 i used too hystaricly cry when i thought about growing up.
I AGREE 100% WITH YOU!!!
I hate the fact that we get older every day. It really saddens me. When people ask if I could be a certain age again, what would I choose, I'm always like 8!! I would love to be 8 again and be that age forever. Life was great at 8!! Adult life sucks big time!! Chores, responsibilities, work, etc... it all sucks!!!
Yeah...it's saddening. I feel that I have to reign myself in more every day and that in the process, I am losing myself. Life was great at 8 - yup.
I hope that I will find an environment where I can just be myself without being bound. Even so, there is a lot about being a kid that I don't think I can ever get back *sigh*
Yeah i wouldnt want to grow up but i wouldnt exactly say all adults are like that lol :P
Once they hit a certain age because they have more experience than you they tend to think they are more smarter/intellegent than you are, and this often leads to them becoming hypocrits as you mentioned above. I always seem to prove my dad wrong 80% of the time lol. Adults can be very prejudice.
I feel the same. Growing up and getting old is defining you that you could most certainly hate your job, and maybe even life.
Ah, yes. But when you grow up you get to know fascinating things such as words like "controlling" (as opposed to "controllive", does not exist, sorry frosh).
