I don't like the way emotions effect people

This applies to everyone, but I think my friends are WAY too controlled by their emotions all the time. Now I beleive in being happy and having fun, but my friends go way overboard with it and they get out of control, and things usually don't end well. I also don't like how people's voices get more high pitched and faster when they are exited. And when my friends are down in the dumps, they get all pissed off I feel like I have to cheer them up so I do and the same shit keeps happening. I can't have them sad because they are really good friends who I can count on but I can't keep having them out of control. What should I do and is it normal? Sorry for any spelling/grammer misteaks, it's very late at night and I'm very tired.

I can relate to this. I especially hated it about drunk people that I was with. I figured out the problem is not me or them, the problem is the difference between us. Aaaand the fact that I'm an introvert and a generally quiet person. So far I've only figured out a way to get over this difference with drunk people - just drink with them. I hated the idea of being out of control but surprisingly (or maybe thanks to these thoughts) I can remain pretty sober-thinking even if I had way too much. Also do it only with your good friends - I don't tolerate other people being drunk around me.

emotion is just 1 more thing we all exploit in each other. without it trolls would be jobless.
