So, I'm a straight guy who hates looking at women. Whenever there's a cute girl in the room, I make it a point not to look at her or give her any attention. I feel as though looking at a girl gives her some small amount of control over me and it just pisses me off, so I refuse to even look or think about it.
Well, aren't you actually giving them the control by allowing them to dictate your behavior?
not normal. on one hand you're right, a lot of morons think they can control you becuase they assume you find them attractive. but there has to be a lot more involved than a look. you're being a paranoid wussy. not all women are out to get you and control you with their sexuality. not wanting to be bullied by bimbos is normal, but never acknowledging women again because you don't want to deal with skanks isn't. you're not going to get past this if you don't even have the nads to look a girl in the eye. think of all the nice cool girls you've given the cold shoulder too. the power and control struggles only get more complicated btw.
not true, seems like your insecure. if they are sketty girls then yes ignore away, look for the more respectable beauty and focus your attention on them, not the attention seekers, not only will this piss them on but your admiring could do her sum gd in the confidence department

I can see where you're coming from. While I don't have a problem looking at girls, I've ran into some (though few) that take offense when you stare at them. They get all annoyed and pissed, as though I'm hurting them or something. This just makes me go "whatever" and walk away, not caring to look at them again - after all if they're gonna be so bitchy about that, I don't care to give them any attention.
i think you may be overthinking and overreacting to this. any girl that thinks she as any amount of control by being looked at is an idiot. look and enjoy, it doesn't mean anything.

I can see why..I mean you're attracted to the girl so during that moment she has control over you. Many guys don't feel like that, but what you're saying does have quite a bit of truth to it. When ur attracted to sum1 at 1st, they have ctrl ovr u during that moment.

I think your looking too deep into girls. If people stare at me, I get embarrassed and don't do anything. I just think there must be something wrong with me, but I try and shrug it off.
Although, I do find people who don't pay any attention to me a nice gain because then I can just act like my usual self.
