There's this girl who I've known for about two years now. Just this year she told me how she felt about me. I told her I didn't like her like that. After a couple days she accepted it and we have been very good friends ever since. It's been a few months, and just the other day she told me she didn't like me more than a friend anymore. I don't like her, but I feel kind of mad or jealous because now she doesn't like me. It kinda makes me feel bad, is this normal?? If so what do I do?

    I've known a lot of people that have had this happen to them. She must've made you feel really good about yourself, had you on a pedestal, treated you like you were really somethin. Well, now that she doesn't feel for you "that way" anymore, the crowns been taken away from you. You miss it. You want that attention again. You were probably in love with the thought that someone had such strong desire/feelings for you. It's gone now, and you're lost. You feel like you aren't that great anymore. It's normal.

    No one likes being dumped but... you already told her "no".

    Were you expecting her to want you forever? To wait for you until you decided to give in to her?

    Totally normal. Its like ur left wondering what u did to put her off u. Ur not selfish or deluded- just human. Im exactly the same. Its flattering when someone likes you and when they stop ur bound to wonder if uve lost ur appeal. Its normally not down to u tho- sounds like she just took it too well and was quite rational about it.

    i dont think she is taking the message that you dont like her like that its not your fault she is the one that is being mature you dont have to like everyone you know
