I don't like chris rock

For whatever reason, I don't find Chris Rock funny. I never did. I never laughed or giggled at any of his jokes. He's a one trick pony who constantly jokes about race, and I don't think that's funny. A good comedian is able to have a wide variety of what he or she jokes about, and Chris Rock just does the same old schtick about race.

Now, I'm a white female, so maybe that has something to do with my annoyance of him, but then again, other white people think he's funny.

So is it normal that I think a famous and well-liked comedian is a one-trick pony who isn't talented as a comedian or an actor?

    Yes it's normal. I don't like him either. But it's mostly because I find his voice annoying and intolerable.

    I'd rather listen to a 90 year old masturbate. And that's pretty sick.

      If a white person was a "little racist" and told the same jokes Rock did, I'm pretty sure no one would say "He's hilarious!". They would say, "That fucking schmuck! He's a fucking racist, that fucking fuck!" :P

    It's normal. He's okay. I'm not a huge fan of him either, but I did like Everybody Hates Chris.
