I'm a white chick, I really can't stand modern black culture and I don't hang out with any black people nor do I listen to rap music.......BUT I loooooove Newport cigarettes, Old English 40's, Black and Milds and collard greens with black eyed peas and bacon.

Am I wierd, am I a reincarnation of a black person or what?? People make fun of me all the time about this and it's very much not typical for a white lady to love all those things yet not be into black culture or be dating a black guy or being a "wigger" something like that.

    I associate Newports (and mentholated cigs in general) with
    greasy gelled-out assholes with fake tans
    and super trashy biddies who wear too much eyeliner and not enough clothes.

    So yeah this might be normal for you.

    It's just your freaking taste; everyone has their own taste. I'm black and love everything that's related to modern Asian culture. I don't think this makes me an Asian reincarnate.

    I'm getting a normal vote but then why do people make fun of me constantly about this? Almost every time I buy collard greens in the store, someone comments on it. Two seperate times a black guy was standing there near the greens and saw me getting them and said "you must have a black boyfriend at home"....the cashiers look at me real wierd when I buy a few Old English 40's with a pack of Newports.

    I have never seen anyone like these things unless they were trying to"act black" and in those cases they didn't even like the stuff, they were just playing a role.

    Idk I think it's norml to like what you like but it seems a bit wierd that I like so much that's attached to a culture that I hate.

      First of all who decided those things were associated with black culture today?
      I'm kind of shocked at hot blatantly you are displaying your ignorance right now. Besides its just cigs and veggies lady. And what does it mean to "act black" because I'm a young black woman and I can tell you there are many black people who act nothing like me. =]
