I don't know right from wrong. From experience, laws and observing people I generally know how any given act would be perceived by others, but to me, I do not see right or wrong, or WHY something is seen as wrong.
is it normal to not know right from wrong?
So, you know something is seen as wrong, but it doesn't seem wrong to you? Sounds like lack of empathy. I don't understand why one would feel that way, but I've wasted many an hour chastising users here about shit like this. So I won't chastise you, I just hope you don't bully or abuse anyone or have urges to kill, rape or assault anyone. I've had urges to beat those who anger me, but I don't do it cause it's not worth the jail time. Also, I disagree with the above comment; I am mildly autistic but I have a conscience.
I wouldn't say autism per se how about antisocial personality disorder? I'm sure there are different degrees of it. Maybe a lower degree of ASPD or sociopathy? They're essentially the same thing just different terms.
No. A sociopath can distinguish between right and wrong. An autistic individual can not. They don't understand why certain behaviours would be classified "inappropriate" whereas a sociopath spends their life living as a "normal" person in order to convince people they indeed have a conscience when they do not.

True, but a conscience kinda prompts a person regarding right and wrong. Like for instance stealing is wrong regardless of a person's religious or political beliefs. So even if I'm tempted to steal my conscience will tell me not to because it's fundamentally wrong to take things that aren't mine. Or if I were to end up actually stealing something I would feel guilt and shame about it and those emotions would come from my conscience.
What if youre stealing for the right reasons? for example it might be good to steal food from the store if you are hungry enough. Im not the op btw but i can see where they're coming from. right and wrong are usually subjective to opinion. there are some things that are definately wrong such as raping babies and putting kittens in a wood chipper but most things are opinion.
