I don't have friends because i value freedom

After one or two times of saying you can't go, they never contact you again.

Freedom isn't free. Freedom is responsibility. So, to be free, you have to make your own way, not rely upon others.
I'm an extroverted introvert. I like company, but not if it's abusive, superficial etc.
I had one mother of a friend (or ex-friend) say: "I like [me], you can have a REAL conversation with him". Because I'm not constantly trying to manipulate others to gain social advantage or just avoid social criticism from the social gatekeepers (whoever they are, you know they exist, like an immune system for the group).
I am free to be real, because I don't give a toss what anyone thinks. This is really, REALLY hard sometimes, due to social ostracisation (even amongst so-called 'alternative' people, who are usually too weak-minded on some level, or realistically, just not motivated to be masochistic all the time about reality and subjects of conversation etc).
That was BEFORE the rise of social media drone-humans.
Now, the narcissism/fakery/posing weak-as-fuck-mindedness is exacerbated quite a lot. It's disgusting for someone who sees it for what it is... a pathology.
Sharing and being sociable with friends is one thing... unable to live without posing online via constant selfies and feeling pure FEAR at being disconnected... that's a hive-mind slavery.
    It matters.
Give yourself a hug from me for being real, if you indeed are.
'Normal' is overrated and it's GOOD to be the way you are.

Part of the reason I don't date much is because some people want to control who and when you do things. That's absolutely outrageous and frivolous.

Normal. I prefer to fly solo most of the time. Friends are just a lot of work and yes they will stop asking if you turn them down too often.

A friend in need, is a friend indeed.

    "Care to wank me off..."

Be gentle, it's my first time.
