I don't even know (not clickbait)

Ok I will try to explain what I mean but it's really hard. So like sometimes people are in my life and I may not even like them but I'm always referencing them or bring up things they did like three-four years ago. I even make up weird stories about them. That are clearly not based in reality. Or you know how you're just thinking of something and you don't know what to say so you say a random word? Well I say their name randomly a lot. So I'm wondering if that is normal for people to do, I explained it the best I could. I've wanted to post this for awhile but like I said it's hard to explain.
