I feel a lot of people date/ go out with people because they can instead of it being mutual.

A lot of my friends would just go out with someone because they were asked out sort of thing where as I'm not like that. I can't date someone I'm not interested in or pretend. It has to be mutual and so far I have had few crushes but they haven't liked me back :/ Everyone says why don't you have a bf? No one stops to actually use their brain and think hold on wait a minute, maybe this girl was in love with someone who didn't want her? Maybe this girl is gay? Maybe this girl is asexual? Maybe she's ....etc....

You get the jist of things.
I think majority of couples are not with the true person they desire because along the way almost everyone gets rejected. That means most people are with their second option or even third. I think that's not real love unless it's mutual and I think the way it works is fucked up
