I don't care what anybody else thinks?

Hello, this has been bothering me for a long time. I've heard lots about people not caring what others thought about them but I've always felt very guilty about the fact I honestly don't care what anybody thinks, about anything at all? Not just what they think of me? I see lots of posts and forums on other sites where people are saying "don't worry about what other people thinks about you :)))) you're beautiful just the way you are!!!!" and those kinds of things always make me cringe? Honestly I don't care what is considered beautiful. If you're beautiful, you're beautiful. If you're ugly, you're ugly. Stop being so shallow that you can't just be considered unattractive when you are unattractive. I wish people would stop telling people that they're beautiful and cared about when they aren't. I don't think you should shove lies down their throats to make their poor little over emotional brains feel better. Who even cares if you're considered less attractive than other people, we're all going to look the same when our flesh rots away when we cark it.
I don't care what people think about me, but I also don't care what they think about themselves, or others, or anything really. It makes it really hard for me to relate to people... I hate having to listen to people telling me all about their problems. Of course, I'm polite and ask if everything's alright but quite frankly, I don't care. It's just wasting my time? I don't talk to other people about how I feel either. They don't need to know, if I feel sad, I go watch a funny video. I don't need other people to give me special treatment because I tripped over the curb and spilled my coffee on the way to work, or because my spouse dumped me. (on that note, I don't care if people cheat or dump their spouses either. I do have a girlfriend and if she dumped me or cheated on me, I wouldn't care. It's her decision. Now don't get me wrong, I do love her and I would miss her if she left me. But I wouldn't throw a fuss over it. She does what she likes. Not my problem if she doesn't want to me with me anymore. I just wouldn't be impressed if she took any of my hard earned stuff.)
Whenever I hear people talking about people committing suicide my first thought is: "Wow. Good that they're gone. Wouldn't want them reproducing. We'll end up with a generation of weak kids who can't handle their own emotions." or "What an attention seeker, hope they're happy now, if people hated them before they died, nothing's going to change, people are still going to hate them."
I've been added to quite a few groups by people who think I might be able to "help them cheer up" a 'depressed' or 'suicidal' person and it always makes me really salty, because if they're that desperate to be cheered up, they can do it themselves.
I've always tried to hide it, but as I'm getting on in the years I think i'm just getting more and more sick of people shoving their feelings in my face.
Is this kind of thing normal? or am I just a very over cynical jerk?

You're most likely just cynical, and who can blame you in this day and age.

Explain to me how you of all people would care about the emotional intelligence of the next generation. Lol

    • Well, I would prefer it if I didn't have to deal with more people like that, lol
