Well, not everybody. I just don't care about a lot of people, even if they're suffering, I mean, I don't know if it's normal, because I'm just not them... in other words, I don't really care about them if they're in trouble or not, they're just not me, it's not my problem.
You're normal. The more I pay attention the more I see that most people really just put up the false impression of caring about other people but never consider those individuals when it comes to something they really care about. I still don't think it's a good thing but it's normal. It can be challenging to care for the wellness of someone you've never meet before. Though their feelings are just as real as yours, they're so far outside of yourself that it's very easy to disregard them as insignificant.
i think ur normal, i have the same problem too. i dont think it is selfishness that we dont care about what is happening somewhere else it's none of our business
Yeah, I would naturally be selfish. Although most people say that unselfishness is a nice thing, it's not normal. Animals are naturally considerate, people learn to be considerate. I'm not sacrificing my luxuries, love of money or desires for all the religion in the world. I only buy stuff for myself, it's called 'it's my money and no one else gets a gift or even 5 cents from me'.
Ignorance is bliss. Not caring about anyone other than yourself is very common to humanity so if this was a IIN question, it would be a yes.
I think it's normal. I grew up caring about ppl all the time. I'd do anything for anyone. Now that I'm a little older I could care less what other ppl r going through or what their problems are. Why should I? I have my own stuff to deal with.
I have opposite problem. I care to much about other people that I don't notice that I don't take care of myself. Like I carried my fukin ex gfs bag becuase her arm hurt she didn't even ask...
Of course your normal. Our society has pretty much made it a fad to care about others. It gives good self image. Meanwhile we are all self centered mammals who care about surviving and reproducing.
i think its normal u dont care about others, i think there is a lil bit of that in all of that.
but we can a least try to develop some sympathy??
Yeah ... agree with ^^^ Lockets there, not only are you selfish - you have a big "I don't care " chip on your shoulder about it.
If you think that deficiency is something to brag about then you are also a fool. A selfish fool.
I don't think this necessarily makes you selfish. You said you don't care about a lot of people, not all people. I'm like that too. I used to care about everyone too much and it was very stressful. I've started not caring for my own sake. I choose who to care about based on whether i like them or not. If you didn't care about anyone, I would worry, but just some people - that's normal.
