I don't believe in male rape

Is it normal that I don't believe in male rape? I suspect its just men trying to get attention because they are upset over the power women have through accusing guys of rape. This could happen either by them making it up entirely, or by guys saying they didn't want sex after the fact and fudging the details. Most guys would always want sex anyways. I will say that it has happened before a few times in the history of the universe, however I have head claims that as high as 4 percent of males get raped and I don't buy it. Its probably more like 0.000000001% So I'm noy saying its impossible for a male to get raped, I just don't agree that male rape is actually a big deal and anyone should give a fuck about it. It also would do significantly less mental damage to guys because they always want sex anyway. What do ya'll think of male rape?

Disclaimers : I am female and this is excluding gay rape which is probably more feasbile. However people still think women rape guys a lot which is horse shit.

Erections can happen from stimulation alone. A man doesn't have to "want it" to become erect. Erections do not equal arousal. Rape is an incredible violation of boundaries, trust, and safety for any victim, male or female. It can traumatize someone for life or make them distrustful of others, or themselves. Your opinion disgusts me.

  You're correct, asdfgh0987! I knew two women who were raped that had orgasms during it. Just because their bodies reacted to the stimulation, doesn't mean they wanted it. They were haunted by it to the point where they pushed everyone in their life away. Their loved ones acted like they wanted it.
  
  My boyfriend was raped by a woman when he was a kid. He's still traumatized by it and is really creeped out by bodies. The notion that "he's a man, he should've enjoyed it, he's making it up, or all men want sex" is ridiculous.

    It's never talked about much - for obvious reasons - but I have read that researchers have found that it's not uncommon for women to have orgasms during rape. As you say, it's a purely physiological response (as is vaginal lubrication), but since the common belief is that orgasms are only possible when a woman has sex with a man she feels some sort of emotional bond with, this can do a real number on their head.

  Well your opinion disgusts me so i guess we're even. I know it is physiologically possible for a guy to get erect if he doesn't want to. But I don't think women rape men, that doesn't mean its not possible tho. Why would a woman rape a man if she can go online and find a gaziliion fuck buddies at will on hook up sites?     "Female sex drive pales on comparison" in some cases that ain't so.. there are a lot of females that are very high with their sex drive.. do not underestimate some females.. and some males do not seek sex ALL THE TIME my bf doesnt look for sex.. yes he is horny but doesnt always mean he wants to have sex..
    So yes it is possible for guys to get raped by females.. and besides what if the the guy wasn't at all attracted or aroused by the female that's trying to have sex with him and if the Male REFUSES to have sex with her and she still has sex (rape) with him?? How can you justify that??

    So says someone who is physiologically capable of having sex for literally hours on end, whereas the average man is only good for ten minutes or so.
    
    It appears that you assume your sexual urges and what sex means to you are the same as those of every other woman in the world, and therefore it's simply impossible that any woman could get anything out of forcing a man to have sex. I can understand that, since I find it very difficult to get myself into the mindset of a male rapist and to understand what they get out of it. However, I do accept that there are male rapists in the world, and I also accept that there are women who get off on demonstrating their power over a man.

Lots of people believe all kinds of crap without a shred of hard evidence to back up their beliefs. It's clear your beliefs on this topic are based on nothing more than prejudice, a huge pile of assumptions and a very limited understanding of human sexuality and the power dynamics of relationships. The fact you say that male rape of men is merely "feasible" highlights just how ignorant you are.

Your comments remind me of those who believe that it's impossible for men to be the victims of physical or emotional abuse inflicted by women. You seem to have a very traditional view of men as being always powerful, always in control and always horny. I wouldn't be surprised if you also believe men are always the aggressors and women always the victims in any and every sort of conflict. Since you are so dismissive of the possible effects of men being coerced into having sex, you also seem to believe that "real men" are immune to psychological damage caused by being forced to do something they don't want. None of that is true.

It is true that since men are generally larger and stronger than women, it's not likely that many women would be able to rape a man in the stereotypical violent scenario set in a dark alley. However - as you seem to understand - the definition of rape is sex without consent. Physical violence is sometimes involved, but not always. It's well-known that the vast majority of women are raped by a man (or woman) they know in private settings, and there's no reason for that to be any different for men who are forced to have sex with a woman.

I do agree that, people being people, there will be some guys who have jumped on the metoo bandwagon for their own perverse reasons (including men's rights nuttery), but I don't find it difficult at all to believe that some men are in relationships where they are coerced by various means into having sex they don't really want. Men who are physically and emotionally abused by women find it very difficult to admit it because of the stereotype that such things don't happen to real men. Similarly, the stereotype you support of a real man always being horny and wanting sex regardless of the woman or the circumstances makes it very difficult for men to accept that they have been raped.

Personally I don't see how female rapist would be hurtful in anyway unless maybe the victim was a straight woman, or the woman was grotesquely disgusting. So I kind of agree but thats just my personal opinion. if a guy feels that he was raped by a woman then so be it. however I do think that a lot of them are just jumping on the bandwagon of "FeMaLeS cAn RaPe ToO!" which is getting old.

    Yeah, at first I thought this was bait or a mentally ill misandrist, because men getting raped is a reality. You’re exaggerating to say it’s not an issue, but a big reason it’s talked about so much these days is just because of outrage culture - men got offended by feminists doing that sort of thing and wanted a way to say “look! You’re just as bad as us!” Now it’s like you can’t even watch a scripted video of a woman flirting with an uninterested guy without all the comments saying “omg rape, imagine if the genders were reversed!!”
