I dislike when people touch my hair without my permission

My hair used to be waist-length, and it got annoying, so I got it cut shorter. However, I forgot that when it's this short, it gets ultra frizzy and poofs out. My hair is also naturally thick. I'm Puerto Rican, but look white, so when people see me with this hair, their dumb instincts tell them to touch it without my permission and be all amused at how a "white woman has this hair." I'm polite about it, but I wanna pop them in the face sometimes. I'm never getting it cut this length again.

    It's way out of line for anyone to touch any part of you without permission. It's my pet peeve in fact.

    At least you didn't go through what my poor female worker did. She waa particularly well endowed and had an unwanted admirer , Charles, who didn't seem to understand the box zone. One day at lunch, he walked up to her and laid his head on her chest and said "cleavage, cleavage! I sho loves me some cleavage!" in his raspy high pitched voice. The expression of limitless disgust on her face was priceless.

    I’ve never had this issue as I’ve always had pretty bland hair. But ive witnessed many times a white girl running up to a black woman with beautiful natural hair and then instantly put their fingers in it because it is a different texture than theirs. It’s like... wtf are you thinking, do you know how rude and stupid you look! Every single time the black woman was polite but visibly annoyed.

    If it's your friends doing it then meh, it's not a big deal but if it bothers you just tell them you don't like it.

    If it's people you don't know then what the fuck, that's really weird, I think I would smack someone if they just grabbed my hair out of nowhere. Totally normal to wanna pop them in the face

    People who touch strangers without permission should be punched in their douche faces.

    I say you're normal. Idk why some people think they're so important that they get to act on impulse and harass a stranger. Seriously. I won't let kids in my care do that because it's not acceptable and they need to learn how to function in society. Why do grown fucking adult specimens think they're allowed? Entitled pieces of shit.

    I think you are completely in the right on this one, chica. Not everyone who touches my hair pisses me off, but I don't care for people I don't know touching me. I especially hate men I don't know touching my hair, or touching me at all for that matter.
