As I get older I seem to become more bitter. I really don't want to turn into some grumpy old woman ... but people's stupidity and immorality gets me down so much. You think I'm kidding? I'd probably dislike you, knowing my track record. There are some people I love but there are so many others whose flaws I can't seem to ignore.
Well, as long as you don't dislike cats. They're superior to humans for a reason.
I don't dislike everyone, but I can understand what you're saying. Running into moron after moron for months on end really takes a toll on your patience.
Needless to say, there are plenty of normal people out there. I hope you meet some soon!
I'm 25 and I think 90% of the shit bags that call themselves humans, that inhabit This planet, don't deserve the air they suck down their always open mouths. Bitter? Nnnaaaw. Just realistic and honest.
And when you DO find the rare, pure and beautiful people they are almost destroyed by other people already that have used and abused them to bits.
Just life in general. Realizing that almost everyone will take advantage of you if it benefits them, given half the chance. The majority of Humans are selfish creatures by nature.
The flaws in people are what make them interesting and unique; it is stupidity and ignorance that make them intolerable.
I tend to love humanity from a distance. As a whole we can accomplish so much. Up close and getting to know individuals can be mind-numbing. Despite this, I put up with all of the idiots gladly. As long as I know humanity, as a whole, is progressing, I don't really care. Contingent , of course, on whether or not the idiocy of the individual impedes progression.
