I dislike black people justified or not?
I grew up in selma al, known as the birthplace of the civil rights movement. As a child, i was one of 35 white kids in a school of 500 blacks. Lets just say that life wasnt easy. The white kids were always having to watch their backs... there was violence and harassment on a daily basis. There were black kids who never bathed, and many who sexually harassed the few white girls to atrocious levels ( one was literally dragged to the boys shower room and gang raped ). They had no couth whatsoever.
Through all of this, (there is much more, btw) i have really developed a distaste for blacks in general. While i know that there are some that are good people, my experience has made me quite jaded to their whole race. People always talk about how its not fair to stereotype. Well, from my vast experience living with blacks in the south, it sure looks like the stereotypes are true. It seems to me that the only people who think blacks are just as good as whites or other races are the ones who have never been around them much. For instance, my wife moved from idaho where she had barely ever seen a black. Before moving here, she told me " southerners are racist as hell". After about 3 months of living here she came home from work and said "jesus christ black people are the laziest people on earth!!" now, she hates being around them more than i do.
And lets not even get on the subject of black victimization. Oh, what the hell... we all know that if hannibal lecter was black, blacks would say he just had an eating disorder and should be set free.
Anyway, whats your opinion of my attitude toward them? Am i wrong?
