I don't know why but every time I cry later on my brother will sometimes he's the first one to cry sometimes we're crying at the same time. I am 7 years older than him. I am a girl. I don't know why. It isn't or can't be a habit or coincidence because I can say this happens a lot. Whenever we're far away from each other or living together. Is this normal?
Sometimes seeing someone cry who is close to you can trigger a person to cry because they feel bad for that person. You see them sad; it makes you sad. What isn't normal to me is the fact that it happens when you guys are far apart. I'm curious if this happens with anything else...like, if something is wrong with you, does your brother think/feel something is wrong (w/out you telling him, of course)?
Like a kind of empathic connection? And you have evidence of this happening with regularity regardless of physical proximity or prior awareness of each other's emotional state?
I've heard of this sort of thing before. Kind of rare, I think.
