I cried for hours over something that was nothing to do with me.

I usually never cry, and if I do it's generally because I am in pain. Recently I found someone's suicide note on the internet (very happy I know) and I read it, I was so emotionally distraught that I had to be sent home from my school .-. This is completely unlike me, and i'm generally not sympathetic at all.

Is this normal?

      I was thinking the same thing.

      For such a powerful emotional response, there's normally some sort of personal connection felt.

    Maybe your period was due? And your hormones were racing. I cry when I see the ascpa commercials. Poor creatures. I would give them my kingdom if I could.

    Normal :( if something isn't about me but I can relate to it, I feel pretty deeply for it. A few stories on here havd left me a little tearful at one point.

    Seems like an intense reaction to a strangers suicide note. I would understand more if you actually knew the person.
