I constantly scratch at velcro

since i was a kid, i used to use my left hand to hold anything with velcro on it, and my right hand to suck my thumb. i grew out of the sucking thumb, but i still love to scratch velcro!!
idk if thats even how i should explain it, but i use the "prickly" side and i sometimes use my teeth to make it a bit longer and i just stick it under my nail and go back and forth. it hurts sometimes, but if i stop i'll feel an urgency to use velcro again.

nowadays i buy velcro and stick it onto small stuffed animals so i dont look as crazy when i carry random objects with velcro. i used to use my velcro shoes as a kid, mud and all, to sleep.
just wondering if anyone does this? everyone else i tell looks at me like im psychotic.

    This might be a sexual thig so try being tied up with velcro during sex. It sounds like a wierd erge to me I wouln't worry. I act similarly with fire.

    I do the same...weird but good to know I'm not alone. I don't have to have it with me but if it's there I love to run my fingers over it!

    Velcro is awesome why is that abnormal scratch it sniff it make clothes out of it just dont let it get in the way with your life
