I constantly ponder on rising to ultimate power, is this normal?

I want power. Kingly power, Godly power, I want the whole world to worship me, even if through force. I have looked at leaders of the past since I was a young teen; Kings, Dictators, and the like..and I thought-LOSERS! None of these rather insane and prejudiced men have even come close to controlling the entire globe! But I want it all, really badly. To shape the world in my image and be worshipped as the one true God and Lord of all that surrounds me.

After University I intend to go about becoming a leader and hero, I might even spend time in my nations Army to emulate the leaders of history, and serve my need for recognition as a warrior. It is after this that I will either dive straight into politics, or set up a company to become a billionaire, and use my money to aid my rise to power in Europe. Is this normal or am I doomed to the fate of Julius Caesar and Caligula?

    its cool to have a far out there dream. most people do. maybe write a book about it. and in a weird, fucked up way, you will be supreme over lord of all the minions. it'll just be in print and in fiction. plus you could make money!

    Nice lyrics in that song. I don't know what you'll get out of it, but it struck me as sort of suitable when I heard it today. It really spoke to me anyway.

    I think you already know the answer to your question haha. Why do you want so much external power though? What is it that appeals to you?

    However, it just seems like too much work in the end and would really accomplish nothing but an assassination attempt toward your life in the end.

      Yeah, I changed my mind anyway, thanks for that though, really expansive vocabulary you have there lol. Oh, and, the reason is that I found a woman who makes me want to be a better person, we are both students but plan to get married during the summer :))

          But, yeah, I think a woman to really love would be my only salvation.. Power/Love(balances with hands) power/love, pooooowwwer, loooooove... Could I have my cake and eat it too? I am attracted to innocence and kindness. I can be a monster. I am pro military power, the girl I am crushing on is very anti-war. I am against war too, but, I am not disgusted by it, and, would not hesitate to use military power if diplomacy failed. In fact, like many a world leader, I would probably like to get right in the tick of it, leading my troops in a major, tide turning battle.. Maybe kindness and the like in a serious girlfriend could help balance me out? Make me want to change for her and a future family? Love? I can't be sure..

          No I was fucking with him lol. I'll check out the song. Why so much external power? Well, I don't really want that much, as I said, I was overexaggerating. I do want the power to influence world affairs, and, as is natural, want glory. Its mostly just my male ego and my need to repair it after years of being bullied and taken as a fool by those of lesser intelligence than me. And I am not just saying that, the people who gave me a hard time are either in prison or addicted to hash and spending the odd night in a cell. You know the kinds that drink in a park laughing and being rude, those kind of idiots..
