I clean my plate

I eat every scrap of palatable substance off of my plate, and couldn't imagine doing otherwise.

When I'm alone, I lick my dish as clean as I can, along with whatever utensil I was using.

Also, include as much of the whole vegetables or fruits in my cooking as possible. For example, I rarely skin my carrots or butternut squash.

I like food.

I do the same unless I have excess condiments left over on my plate. A big glob of ketchup or mustard is going down the drain, not gonna lick that.

Well, I don’t look lick my plate, unless there’s something really awesome on there. But I scrape it pretty clean and lick utinsels clean. I was taught to take what you can eat and eat what you take. Healthy eating and minimize waste. However, if you eat the “skin” of a butternut squash you’re hard core. It’s has about the same make up as pumpkin rind. Hahahahahaha!

I'm not really a squash person, and I prefer to clean, and skin carrots, because it's cleaner that way, and I don't care for the texture of the skin of most fruits, and vegetables. I always peel the skin off of apples, and peaches.

I feel the same way, Op, except I don't lick the utensils. Food is so good and it's a sad thing when it's wasted.
    :)
