I caught him checking out my butt, he looks away

This guy I don't really know shows me signs of interest such as stares, glances, smiles etc...
But today, I walked in front of him two times. The first time I didn't turn my head but the second time I turned my head and caught him checking out my butt, he has turn his head only to check my butt out. Two steps after, I turned my head again and he was looking in the opposite direction.
Hours after, I tried making an eye contact with him while he was walking past me and he only looked into my eyes when he was exactly in front of me, imitating my facial expression (not smiling and eyes wide open) and quickly looks away. I was disappointed, I really wanted him to stare as he usually does.

Why did he behave like this? Can someone explain me EVERYTHING he did please?
Why was he checking out my butt? Do every guy check out every girl's butt?
Was he disappointed of my butt so he didn't want to stare at me anymore?
