I cant sleep without my girlfriend

It's very hard for me to sleep on my own when I go away for work. I'm so dependant on her and I end up just watching TV until I can just lay there without thinking of anything and just crash. I was wondering if anyone else can't sleep without their girlfriend/wife at night and if so... What methods do you use to get over it while you are on your own ?
