i was walking into a shop the other day, walking out was a white girl of about 17, behind her was a group of asian lads probably in their 20s, one of them made a comment to her in english about her clothing, she turned around and he started talking in a foreign language to another, then they were all doing it, they were laughing realy loud, pointing at her, the girl obviously upset walkjed off in tears. i just think its spineless, why couldnt he just be a man and back up his silly comment in english. now that girl has a bad experience with asians, it wont go away it will taint her every experience with them, no wonder there is so much racism, these people complain about white people being racist towards them, can they blame us? some asian lads picked a fight with me on a train once for no reason so ive also had a bad experience. most white (and black) people i know find many asians arrogent and rude, like some dont even look you in the eye (obviously not all of them, i have some friends who are asian and they are realy nice people) im just wondering why some of them find it acceptable to treat people like this, i have no doubt the vast majority are decent people with good values, its only a small number who behave like this, particuarly youngsters. any opinions welcome

    everyone is mean, there's racist things to say about everyone because there is always someone who is mean/racist/rude. I've seen all types of people in all types of colors and origins. Currently, I'm racist against the whole human race because in the end we've all done terrible things to other people :P

    I live in an area where there are a lot of Pakistani's and I've had a similar experience many times, being called "white bitch" and stuff like that. They're just young pricks.

    First of all, what that group of boys did was extremely rude and stupid on their part. Secondly, how do you know that what they were saying was racist? You had mentioned that they said something about her clothes, but not about her race. You just so happened to point out the race of both sides and it appeared to you as racist. I'm sorry you had to witness that.

    I think everyone has to deal with racism firsthand at least once in their lives, some more than others, and it's how we choose to deal with it that's important. If we choose not to follow suit, this world may become a better place starting with one person at a time.

      I must disagree, I believe bad experiences will ruin everything that relates to it unless you have a good experience before or after.
      Example:
      You eat at a restaurant for the first time but then got food poisoning from there sea food meal. Will you eat in that restaurant and there sea food again? not likely.

      How is this example relates to racism? for one thing, it's the first time. If a person never had a friend who is a different race but then got a bad experience from the race. odds that they will be afraid of that race and then fear turns to hate. but if the person had some good experience from that race then there will be no fear for that bad experience.

      I hate racism also but sometimes not talking about racism (or other offending topics) will make it worse for man kind.

    Lmfao! Okay so she got pissed when they spoke about her in their language and she didn't understand a word what they were saying, but I do understand how she might have reacted normally and feel a little bit offended. But for that experience to make someone be racist towards the whole Asian race is even more lmfaoish. "These people complain about white people being racist can you blame us?" When Asians could be saying "These people complain about Asians being racist can you blame us?" Two wrongs don't make a right and everyone wants to be justified, if it was a group of black,asians and white kids being kids it wouldn't have been a problem but just because its was a group of kids entirely asian its a problem. People need to understand humans are humans no matter what fucking color their skin is or how they look.

    I used to work at KFC and a predominantly white town. We had a Greyhound bus stop across the street, where all kinds of people from big, big cities (Chicago, Atlanta, LA) would get off and come eat.
    I believe I've become racist against black people because of my experiences.
    They walk in, check out my ass, go "heeeey gurl, what's up wit you?" Well, I'm trying to get your food.
    "This is taking too long, I'm going to miss my bus." Well you should have thought of that before.
    "I want you to give me something free for no reason." No.
    I have never met a black person with manners, sorry.

      You have never met a black person with manners? Then maybe you need to buy a plane ticket and travel the world. You never met a black person with manners and a black person with manners have never met you, so don't think because you, ONE person haven't met a black person with manners means that there are no black person on the globe with manners. People need to understand that circumstances make people the way they are.. If I was born and raised in the wild I would act like an animal, If I was born and raised in a castle I would act like a king, If I was born and raised in jail then fuck it I would act like a convict. The children who were being rude and disrespectful to you were kids who were probably from the ghetto and was not raised properly or they were probably trying to fit in with their peers to be considered cool. I know lots of white kids around here that are from the ghetto that are very disrespectful to their elders and do things to fit in with their peers.

    not all Asians are like that my Asian friend hates rude and racist Asians and think they are narcissistic buttmonkeys but I'm black and i don't like most black people i meet because either they are rude and ghetto or they just aren't the type of people i like to hang around i suppose if you don't like the specific person or race then thats a problem you have to deal with yourself

    It is common for some Asians to avoid eye contact when talking to someone because in their culture it is considered rude to look people in the eye when speaking to them.. don't assume they're all being pricks

    i don't really know why, but for some reason in every different race we will always be a little 'racist' towards the other race. because they are different to us.

    in that problem it seems to me that the group of asian girls were the racist ones, because the white girl was 'different'. the racist problems happens in every single international school - the minority race is always left out. the friends groups are sorted by skin school. even though 'racism' is such a taboo if its so strongly expressed, but we do it all the time.

    i guess in every race, there are some groups that are more particularly racist than others, i don't know. it just doesn't sound very nice when you hear about it.

    There young... Uneducated... Stupid. Happens to every race, just some races use their ethnic background to make themselfs "seem" better than others or like they deserve more. Just ignore them, they'll eventuly either grow out of it or live a shitty life. Normal.
